No Yolking™ Detox Skinny Latte

Pucker up and cool down with this detoxifying skinny latte. This cold, frothy drink is perfect on a hot day to keep you hydrated while detoxing the liver and kidneys. It’s a great low-calorie high protein meal replacement or afternoon pick me up, with lots of health benefits.

Apple cider vinegar helps to kick start your digestion, lower blood sugar levels and reduce cholesterol. Coconut water is high in potassium and is a great hydrator, needed on hot summer days! Sunflower lecithin helps to thin the blood, beneficial for people with high cholesterol and helpful on hot summer days to make you feel more energized. Lemons and limes are well known for their detoxifying health benefits, with a blast of Vitamin C to help protect cells from free radicals and help with digestion, as well as giving this drink a little zing!

Optional, but beneficial, Maca root is great for balancing hormones as well as increasing libido. On a nice evening, make this drink a cocktail by adding an ounce of gin.

INGREDIENTS:

350mL coconut water

1 tbsp No Yolking egg white protein powder                                                                                                                                  ½ lemon (peeled)

1 lime (peeled)

1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar

Optional: 1 tbsp Maca root powder

Optional: Sunflower lecithin

Optional: 1 oz Gin

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

– Cut off peel from lemon and lime.

– Put all ingredients in the blender in order of ingredients.

– Blend for 1 minute until nice and frothy.

– Pour and enjoy.
