No Yolking™ – Raspberry Cranberry Smoothie

This delicious No Yolking™ Raspberry Cranberry Smoothie is packed full of goodness and benefits. Cranberries are thought to help with bladder and UTI’s (urinary tract infections), but did you know how it helps. Studies have shown that the acid prevents the pili or flagella of different bacteria from being able to stick to the lining of the tissue of the bladder or urethra. So we flush out more of the bacteria. It does not however kill it, just immobilizes it. Unsweetened is crucial as sugar is food for many bacteria and yeast conditions.

Those lovely raspberries have a component that helps prevent macular degeneration and prevent sun damage to the eyes. Along with the high anti-oxidant factors that helps.

 

Makes: 1 to 2 servings

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1½ cup of Almond Milk (unsweetened)
  • 2 tbsp No Yolking™ egg white protein powder
  • ¾ cup frozen raspberries
  • ½ frozen cranberries or pure cranberry juice (unsweetened)
  • ½ frozen banana
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds

INSTRUCTIONS:

Simply place all the ingredients into a blender and blend until fully smooth and creamy.
