2 cups (500 mL) unsweetened non-dairy milk, such as coconut, almond or oat
2 cups (500 mL) frozen strawberries
1/4 cup (60 mL) natural roasted almond butter
1 very ripe banana, frozen or fresh
2 tbsp (30 mL) unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tbsp (30 mL) Muskoka Mornings® No Yolking™ – 100 % Egg White Protein Powder
1 tbsp (15 mL) honey
1/2 cup (125 mL) assorted fresh fruit, such as strawberries, raspberries and pomegranate seeds
1 oz (30 g) dark chocolate chunks
2 tbsp (30 mL) dried goji berries (optional)
2 tbsp (30 mL) toasted coconut shards
1 tbsp (15 mL) hemp hearts or chia seeds
Smoothie: Add milk, frozen strawberries, almond butter, banana, cocoa powder, egg white powder and honey in a blender. Puree on high for 1 to 2 minutes or until very smooth.
Divide evenly between two bowls. Garnish the top in a decorative pattern with fresh berries, chocolate, goji berries, coconut and hemp hearts. Serve immediately.
Tip: Make this keto-friendly by omitting the banana and substituting with a small, ripe avocado.
