Earthy chai is a delicious way to flavour your coffee: it’s warming, slightly spicy and so, so satisfying. We’re topping ours with a dairy-free foam made from our No Yolking™ – 100 % Egg White Protein Powder.

1 1/3 cups (325 mL) unsweetened almond milk, divided
1 decaf chai tea bag
1 tbsp (15 mL) No Yolking™ – 100 % Egg White Protein Powder
1 tsp (5 mL) each stevia and pure vanilla extract
1 oz (30 mL) freshly brewed espresso (optional)
- Heat 1 cup (250 mL) milk until steaming; pour over tea bag. Let steep for minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a large coffee mug, whisk together remaining milk and 1 tbsp (15 mL) protein powder until smooth and frothy (a wand frother works really well for this). Add stevia and vanilla. Add espresso (if using).
- Pour steeped tea over frothed milk mixture and serve.
