Ingredients:

3 cups (750 mL) mixed berries, fresh or frozen
1 1/2 cups (375 mL) baby spinach or kale leaves
1/2 cup (125 mL) certified gluten-free large flake rolled oats
1 banana, fresh or frozen
2 tbsp (30 mL) Muskoka Mornings No Yolking™ – 100 % Egg White Protein Powder
2 tbsp (30 mL) chia seeds
1 tsp (5 mL) ground turmeric
1/2 tsp (2 mL) ground cinnamon
3 cups (750 mL) non-dairy milk, such as oat milk, coconut milk or almond milk

Instructions:

  1. In a high-powered blender, add berries, spinach, oats, banana, egg white powder, chia seeds, turmeric and cinnamon. Pour milk over top. 
  2. Blend on high-speed for 1 to 2 minutes or until smooth and creamy. Pour into glasses and serve immediately. 

Tip: Using frozen fruit gives the smoothie a thick and creamy texture. If using fresh fruit, add 1 cup (250 mL) ice cubes.
